ES- En mis prácticas de maestra, tuvimos un posible caso de infancia trans el cual se ha llevado con el máximo respeto y cautela tanto familiar como desde el centro educativo. Le hablamos de animales como el caballito de mar y otros, a toda la clase para ver si alguno decía identificarse de un modo similar tanto afectivamente como identitariamente (tanto en un género concreto como con ninguno). Nadie manifestó nada contra la norma y el caso que teníamos entre manos se acabó desarrollando libre de estereotipos por si en algún momento se identificase con otro género o ninguno. Aunque finalmente ha seguido con el asignado. Es una muestra de que respetar los procesos y acompañarlos como un equipo, generan espacios seguros donde todo el mundo pueda desarrollarse y tomar decisiones seguras y libres

EN – During my teaching placement, we had a possible case of a trans child, which was handled with the utmost respect and care, both by the family and the school. We talked to the whole class about animals such as seahorses and others, to see whether anyone identified differently, either in terms of who they were attracted to or their gender identity — including identifying with a particular gender or with none at all. No one expressed anything outside the norm, and the child’s experience was allowed to develop free from stereotypes, in case they eventually identified with a different gender or with none. In the end, they continued to identify with the gender they had been assigned. It showed me that respecting these processes and supporting children as a team can create safe spaces where everyone can grow and make safe, free choices
